Digital Chocolate has launched Gangs of Boomtown on Facebook, following the introduction of the game earlier this year on Google+.

According to the developer, Gangs of Boomtown is a social-game take on the Spaghetti Western theme. Users will play against in-game characters as well as their friends through the game’s PVP (player versus player) functionality.  “Gangs of Boomtown has grit, style, story, and puts you in the boots of a classic gunslinger,” said Marc Metis, President of Digital Chocolate.  “We’re pleased to showcase the game on Facebook and simultaneously introduce new features and missions.”

Gangs of Boomtown is also available via Digital Chocolate’s gaming website.

Digital Chiocolate is currently ranks as the 48th largest app developer on Facebook with a monthly active user (MAU) base of 8.1 million people. The company’s most popular apps are Millionaire City with 2.1 million MAUs, Zombie Lane with 1.8 million MAUs and Galaxy Life with 1.8 million MAUs.
